Status – Maintenance complete

Greetings!

We will be bringing all North American servers offline tomorrow morning, 6/1/2010, at 8:00 AM EDT for weekly maintenance. At this time we anticipate that all servers will be back online no later than 12:00 PM EDT. As always, please be sure to check the Herald for updates regarding this downtime.

Here at Mythic we’re privileged to be entrusted with building, fostering
and enriching living online communities. In doing so, every once in
awhile we’re fortunate to be a part of something that is a truly special
show of community support.

As many of you may already be aware, a player on the Badlands server, Tinkerhell, has recently been faced with the reemergence of her breast cancer. As anyone who has fought a battle with this terrible disease knows, the support of friends and family can be a source of great strength and comfort during a very stressful time. The amount of support shown by the WAR community at large, not just on Badlands but across all servers, has been inspiring. In recognition of the outpouring of support from the WAR Community, in lieu of our normal blog roll we’re going to simply link everyone to the recent blog posts about Pinkfortink.

To the WAR Community, thank you for being the best bunch of WAAAGH’rs a team could ever have the privilege of representing. Tinkerhell, from all of us here in the studio, our thoughts and prayers are with you and we wish you all the best.

Update 5:50 PM EDT 5/26/2010 – We have fixed an issue where players were unable to receive items from their mailbox. In order to see this fix, players will need to completely exit the game and run the patcher.

We are aware of issues with players are currently having with receiving mail. At this time we are investigating the issue, however we do not have an ETA for a fix. No further appeals are needed regarding this issue. Please be sure to watch the Herald for updates regarding this.
